Daria DeGaetano

"Growing up, Arts education made me feel seen. Now, as an Arts educator myself, I hope to make others feel seen." - Daria

Daria loves passing on the craft of performance. Most recently, she taught at Heidelberg University (OH) as an adjuct professor of Theater Arts and guest artist, choreographing their production of "Elf, the Musical." She has additionally worked as an interim professor at Five Towns College (NY) in theater dance. Over the last three years, Daria has been an instructor at audition workshops for college students visting NYC, and has also been a guest speaker at local High School drama programs, talking about opportunities as a performer in college and beyond. Daria also works with students ages 8-18 in dance, voice, and musical theater. She is proud of her award winning students, and has been recognized at several competitive dance competitions over the years for her choreography. Daria currently teaches on Long Island, NY, where she encourages her students to strive for excellence in not only technical execution of performance, but most importantly in story-telling.
